A new disease has been discovered. It was first discovered on the video streaming service, Youtube. It has already affected thousands, if not millions of people already. What is this disease? It is called Clickbait. What it does is it missleads people into clicking a video, or internet article; it provides luring information that isn't true, all while generating millions in advertisement revenue.
Many people have noticed this new disease, and have steered clear of it. But many people are still falling victim to it. Because of this issue, many big internet stars have taken on the issue informing the people of Clickbait. All while there are still the diplorable scum of the internet are still ruining my, and millions of other's time on the internet. Take this quote for example.
These scummy people are infecting millions of people daily! They have ruined me! I am nothing now...
There isn't much we can do to stop Clickbait. Fortunately, there is one thing that might work. If you suspect a video or article of being infected with Clickbait, get as far away from it as possible. It'll be hard to do this, though; the creators can get clever with Clickbait. But if we all work together, we might, just might; eradicate Clickbait.
